The Crunchyroll industry panel at Anime Expo 2024 was packed with exciting news, and towards the very end, an anime adaptation of the popular WEBTOON title, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, was revealed to be in production.

A collaboration between Crunchyroll and Aniplex, the series was announced with a teaser trailer and key visual, and continues the wave of major anime adaptations of manhwa and WEBTOON titles.

The return of the anime adaptation of SIU's Tower of God with a second season is evidence of the 2020 title's success. Is this success contagious?

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is an action-fantasy web-novel created by Sing Shong which originally ran from January 2016 to February 2018, published by Munpia, while the currently ongoing webtoon, illustrated by Sleepy-C and published on Naver's platform, began its run in May 2020. The story follows an office-worker named Kim Dokja who has spent a lot of time enjoying his favourite web novel titled "Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse"; however, when the story's events become reality, Dokja is the only person who knows how the world will end, and he'll do everything in his power to change fate.
