Numerous works of concept art for the upcoming RPG Fable have leaked online, suggesting a massive open world. The upcoming Fable is a reboot of the series launched in 2004, known for its choice-based story, its flexible combat systems, and its incredibly interactive open world. Initially slated for a 2025 release, Fable was delayed in February of last year, and is now set to come out before the end of 2026.
Now, a series of works of concept art for Fable have leaked, according to MP1st. Through all of these screenshots, though, what's clear is that Fable is intended to have a massive open world for players to explore and interact with.
The leaked screenshots primarily show Fable's protagonist traveling through a variety of different environments: a variety of different environments: a mountain pass, a foggy village, a goblin-infested sewer. All of these look incredible, stunning and evocative, but what's really impressive is the scale they suggest for Fable's open world.
Several of the screenshots show the protagonist poised atop a small hill, looking out at a massive river valley. The towers of an enormous castle rise in the distance, visibly at least a mile away....
