Pokémon has been mostly quiet on Gen 10 so far, even though it seems guaranteed the new games will be revealed in some way at this year's Pokémon Day stream. As a number of collaborations to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary have been announced already, we now have an official tease regarding the next Pokémon games.
The comments, in a video shared by Stealth on X, came from The Pokémon Company President himself, Tsunekazu Ishihara, who recently accepted the Andrew Yoon Legend Award on behalf of the various studios behind Pokémon games. During his acceptance speech, which ran for around 5 minutes, Ishihara briefly mentioned the future of the next Pokémon games, seemingly talking about Gen 10.
"I truly feel that Pokémon has the power to connect the world," Ishihara said. "That feeling becomes a major driving force for me as I think about how to produce the next Pokémon game and how we can make it even more enjoyable for everyone."
