Bully had a massive impact on Rockstar fans as soon as it hit. Originally released in 2006, the series has sadly remained dormant ever since, outside of a few re-releases, leading to all sorts of fan recreations and revival projects.
But over on Steam, you can find a bona fide spiritual successor now. It's not from Rockstar, but it seems to have a lot of the same DNA.
Agefield High: Rock the School is a new game that puts you in the shoes of a high school kid looking to make a name for himself. According to creator Refugium Games, Bully isn't the only inspiration: "Relive your High School days in the town of Agefield. It’s the early 2000s, and graduation is on the horizon. Rebel with your friends, win over your dream girl and rock the school! A coming-of-age adventure about friendship, love, and rebellion inspired by the raunchy teen comedies of the era."
