Star Wars Zero Company recently received its first update of 2026, with developer Bit Reactor confirming that the XCOM-like turn-based tactics game is still on its way. There is no indication that it wasn’t, to be clear, but the fan who prompted this response from Star Wars Zero Company’s developer also wasn’t wrong to have their doubts, given the unstable foundations that most upcoming Star Wars projects seem to be standing on.
Per Twitter/X, Bit Reactor’s response was short and sweet. And, with a release window of 2026 that is seemingly committed to, the studio likely has its head down in order to meet that goal.
Assuming that full-scale marketing will be arriving soon, including a concrete release date to look forward to sometime later this year, Bit Reactor's response to what was essentially a random fan’s concern is more significant than it might initially seem. The concern about its release is undoubtedly shared among many other Star Wars fans who have Star Wars Zero Company wishlisted on Steam or rank it as one of their most highly anticipated games of 2026.
