In case you missed it, Ubisoft is currently undergoing a massive restructuring and has canceled six games, on top of additional delays. While Prince of Persia is the only named title, now, fans are concerned that the Assassin's Creed franchise could be in trouble.

Ubisoft hasn't publicly revealed all the games affected, but one of the cancellation criteria really stands out. Over on Reddit, Assassin's Creed fans think they've figured it out.

Within the cancellation notices, Ubisoft singles out one game as a "mobile title" that was canceled. Now, fans are concerned that Assassin's Creed Jade has been caught in the crossfire.

Originally slated for 2023, Assassin's Creed Jade is a mobile release that has been continuously delayed. Jade allows players to play as a fully customizable assassin during the Qin dynasty era of China, circa 215 BCE. We've gotten a teaser for it and a closed beta announcement back in 2023, but that's about it.
