The next early access update for Hytale will include some face mask accessories and new cosmetic options for players to enjoy, according to Hypixel Studios founder Simon Collins-Laflamme. Hytale Update 2 will also allow players to hide their armor, along with some changes to the game's progression systems and user interface.
Following its January 13 launch, Hytale has already released updates for early access buyers to enjoy. For example, dinosaurs were added in Hytale's first early access patch, including creatures like the T-Rex, Triceratops, and Pterodactyl. However, finding these prehistoric critters required Hytale players to traverse the world and locate a volcanic biome first. Additionally, Hytale Update 1 made some changes to the game's crafting systems to make things a bit smoother for players. The time to create leather out of light, medium, and heavy hides was reduced by 10 seconds, and the materials needed to upgrade the backpack were changed to make it easier to manage early on in the game.
Hytale’s devs are betting big on farming and cozy systems, and as a Stardew Valley fan, that long term focus is exactly what has me paying attention.
