PlayStation Plus subscribers are constantly getting brand-new free games added to the service, with a rolling lineup of great titles for gamers to check out at their convenience. Unfortunately, part of that process also involves titles being removed from the catalog throughout the year.
In a quiet update to February's lineup of free games available on PS Plus, two games that were previously included in the Last Chance To Play section have been removed from that list and made unavailable to download for free for members (via PS Lifestyle). Members who already downloaded these games are still able to play them for the time being, but it's likely they will lose access after February.
According to some PS Plus users, both Carto and Spirit of the North were removed from the Last Chance To Play section. It's a response to players who contacted customer support to report that these titles were made unavailable to download for free without warning. Apparently, PS Plus has been suddenly removing games in recent weeks, and these titles have now been quietly included in that trend.
