Officially revealed at Dragon Ball Genkidama Matsuri, a new Dragon Ball video game will be releasing next year in 2027. Very little is known about Dragon Ball: Age 1000 so far, but the title heavily implies that the game will be set far in the future of Dragon Ball's timeline. Hardcore Dragon Ball fans know that years in the series are referred to as ages. The original Dragon Ball begins in Age 749, while the Peaceful World Saga in Dragon Ball Z ends in Age 784.

A new Dragon Ball Super remake starting with a fresh adaptation of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will release Fall 2026.

The trailer for Dragon Ball: Age 1000 also seems to imply that the silver haired main character is a descendant of Goku, signified by the fact the unnamed hero can turn Super Saiyan, and Goku's silhouette briefly appears over the protagonist during the teaser. No gameplay has been shown, nor any specific story details, but more information will be revealed at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 later this year.
