With RDR1's native next-gen release launching late last year somewhat out of the blue, players were convinced it was only a matter of time before RDR2 gets a similar update—and a release window may have just quietly been revealed.
According to reports from Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly (via X), the rumors surrounding an official Red Dead Redemption 2 next-gen update are 100% true, confirmed by at least eight different insiders at Rockstar who have worked on the project.
Fans have recently started to lose faith in the idea that an RDR2 next-gen update was actually happening, citing popular leaker/insider NateTheHate's reports, which have yet to see any official confirmation or release announcement from Rockstar. Kiwi Talkz's newest report suggests that the next-gen update is certainly happening, but may have been affected by dev delays on Grand Theft Auto 6.
