ARC Raiders is set to receive its January update on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The update will come to all platforms and you can check out the new trailer below. The update known as Headwinds brings four key updates to the game, with one update that will separate the pros from the schmos. Following the previous update, the ice is thawed, so that mechanic will be removed. Two new cosmetic sets will also join the fray with the Sandwalker Set. ARC Raiders Headwinds Update Premise
The last update saw the unique mechanic in specialized events where players had to monitor their thermal temperatures. Basically, if you were out in the cold, you froze. Although this seems like a better mechanic to introduce during January (at least in the northern hemisphere), this ice has melted, and it is gone.
