Fallout 2 Open-World Remake Planned For Steam Is Still On Track

There's an awful lot of talk about Fallout 5 at the moment. The second season of Prime Video's Fallout has led to renewed hope around the video game series, causing many to ask what might be next. With Elder Scrolls 6 the (presumed) focus at Bethesda right now, Fallout 5 is probably still a long way off. But there's been speculation that a Fallout 3 remaster could be just around the corner.

That's all well and good. But isn't it time we showed the original Fallout games some love again? That's why I was so delighted to hear that a Fallout 2 remake project that aims to rebuild the 1998 game in Fallout 4's engine is still alive and well.
