Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream will officially launch on Nintendo Switch on April 16, 2026. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream's release date was announced during a 22-minute-long Nintendo Direct focused on the upcoming Nintendo Switch sequel.

The Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 have a busy few months ahead. Mario Tennis Fever is launching in February, Pokemon Pokopia is dropping a month later, and there are a plethora of other Switch games that have a general release window of 2026, such as The Duskbloods, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. There have also been growing rumors in the last few weeks that a full-length Nintendo Direct will take place in early February, meaning the Nintendo Switch's release calendar could get a whole lot busier.

Although the Switch and Switch 2 versions of Dispatch are now available, the new ports come with a major caveat for buyers to keep in mind.
