Utawarerumono has an interesting history. It started as a visual novel series with a grand three-story epic. There were some tactical RPG mechanics during combat, but most of the gameplay was through the narrative. It eventually got a prequel game called Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten, which was a traditional turn-based JRPG. Recently, it turned two visual novel entries into a musou experience with the ZAN games. The newest trailer that just showed up from AQUAPLUS is adding a brand new entry to the universe with Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered.
The trailer reveals just the opening and not much of the premise, but it does include a link to the Steam page that is now live for the game.
