Dungeons & Dragons has made digital goodies a major part of the D&D Beyond ecosystem, but they're not always accessible to everyone. In most cases, bonuses like dice skins and character sheet backgrounds are reserved for subscribers, offering cosmetic perks alongside the more tangible advantages. The latest gift, however, is even more exclusive.
The official D&D Beyond X account has now revealed a new character sheet background available to Sigil users for free. Sigil was D&D Beyond's attempt at a 3D virtual tabletop system, but the project was sunset only months after its alpha release. At the time of the announcement, the character sheet background was promised as one of several digital rewards for Sigil users.
D&D Beyond's Project Sigil backdrop appears in the image attached to the X post, showcasing a gold dragon on an iridescent background. The news hasn't made much of a splash overall, but it's earned the approval of at least one user, as X user Rickums29 responds with a one-word assessment: "Dope." SkorVoltag is less positive, sarcastically remarking, "well, that fixes everything."
