Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 hasn't even been officially announced, but fans already have some questions and concerns about the next installment in the franchise, especially regarding the potential length of the story. Despite the lack of any details from developer Insomniac Games, we may not have to look much farther than Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s story length to make a solid estimate.
In response to a Reddit post from user Endarion on Reddit several months ago, fans ended up debating what length would be best, with commenter 662300 proposing that a 30+ hour runtime is likely. Luckily, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 seems to have paved a fairly clear road in terms of what we can anticipate from a threequel, including how long it might take to roll credits in the golden path and how long it might take to obtain 100% completion and a coveted PlayStation 5 Platinum trophy.
