WWE 2K26 has revealed its cover star ahead of its release later this year. Each edition of the annual wrestling franchise chooses one of its major figures to feature in its cover design. Last year's cover star was Roman Reigns, who shared the space on the Bloodline Edition cover with fellow members of the Anoa'i family.
Today, 2K has announced that the cover star of WWE 2K26 will be current World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, whom a press release calls "one of the most celebrated and subversive personas in WWE history." Speaking of the opportunity, Punk is quoted as saying, "As a kid, I could only dream of being on the cover of a video game. Now I join a very exclusive group ofWWE Superstars who have done it twice."
This is indeed CM Punk's second time serving as cover star for WWE; he previously appeared on the cover of WWE '13. He also features prominently in one of 2K26's new game modes, Punked - CM Punk's Personal Journey, a campaign narrated by Punk himself and featuring iconic matches from his career.
