PlayStation Plus has plenty of free games available for temporary periods, but almost nothing on the service is ever granted as a permanent license. Aside from the rapidly rotating monthly titles, even the long-term catalog additions can come and go at any time. Luckily for subscribers, however, one recent free offering seems to be sticking around for good.

Reddit user Puzzleheaded-Sir8673 called attention to a glitch involving Life is Strange 2, which they still have access to even after its removal from PlayStation Plus. While the first episode of the game is free for everyone, episodes Two through Five typically cost a total of $31.94. Per the comments, the glitch appears to be making all of Life is Strange 2 consistently free for other PlayStation Plus subscribers.

It's rare for a technical oddity of the PS Store to work to players' benefit, but this is one situation that's definitely fun for fans.
