Fans Discuss Features Missing From Baldur's Gate 3 That They Want In Divinity

Larian's recent AMA revealed a few things about Divinity. Perhaps the biggest one is that the studio will not be using gen-AI on the game, after CEO Swen Vincke's comments caused quite a stir. We also learned that Divinity will have mod support, will run on Divinity engine, and… have alligators.

However, we don't know much else about gameplay and features. While the studio's previous game, everybody's beloved Baldur's Gate 3, is the darling of the industry, there were certain features that the devs didn't or couldn't include thanks to the partnership with Wizards of the Coast. Since Divinity will be its own game, fans are hoping to see certain features that were missing from BG3.

TurbulentFeeling5696 posed a question to the Baldur's Gate 3 subreddit, asking what fans would like to see in Divinity, coming off Larian's previous title. "I think I would massively prefer a slider-based character creator instead of just a selection of preset heads," they said. "Too limiting for my tastes." Character creation is something a lot of people look forward too, and BG3's isn't as intricate as that of some other games.
