Batman: Arkham Knight gets a lot of flak for the bat-tank, and while I think all of you are wrong (I even wrote an article saying as much), I can't deny that Deathstroke's fight was disappointing. Especially after Arkham: Origins.
Thankfully, after over a decade, one fan is righting that wrong with a complete revamp of the game. Cue the Master Overhaul by GPUnity, which aims to make the whole experience more challenging. And part of that is a fleshed-out brawl with Deathstroke — without the batmobile this time.
"I'm using the ninja enemies as a base and expanding upon it," GPUnity explained in a new video delving into the progress made on the mod so far. "You can reuse some existing animations from different characters. In the case of Deathstroke's walking animation, it was Darksheep's idea to use Azrael's sword walking animation [...] since Azrael holds a sword and stands more upright. I've edited Deathstrokes parameters to make him physically more imposing. You can't use any of the gadgets against him — he'll either dodge or tank them.
