Last month, Xbox gave us a good look at the new Fable, which will be coming out this Autumn. It was a great dive into the gameplay, which revealed all the Fable mechanics that we've come to expect from the series. You can become a landlord, kick chickens around, and get dressed up, but a big deal was made out of the fact that you can shack up with and marry any of the game's many, many NPCs.
Getting married, making a family, and then subsequently forgetting about them and abandoning them is a quintessential part of Fable, and it's such a common experience that pretty much everyone in the fanbase has their own favorite NPC that they like to hook up with. Thanks to the recent gameplay deep dive into the new Fable, fans have now been reminiscing on their Fable flings.
On the Fable subreddit earlier this week, a user called Eat_Ur_Veggies revealed that when they were a child, they used to marry the same Bowerstone NPC again and again, seemingly smitten by this one woman. It's kinda wholesome, but it prompted many to start sharing their own favorite marriages from back when they were playing....
