Microsoft has confirmed nine new games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the near future, while simultaneously shadow dropping a surprise game subscribers can check out right now. When Microsoft made the Xbox Game Pass January 2026 Wave 2 announcement, it also revealed some of the games that would be coming to the service at the beginning of February.
That particular Xbox Game Pass announcement confirmed award-winning indie game Indika would be added to Game Pass at the start of the month, followed by Final Fantasy 2 on February 3. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can check out both of those games right now, but as it turns out, Final Fantasy 2 wasn't the only game coming on February 3. Microsoft has issued a new update to the Xbox Game Pass library that includes a surprise new game to play and confirms nine other titles that are coming in the very near future.
February 2026 brings a total of 40 new titles to Xbox Game Pass' Stream Your Own Game library, including notable RPG and horror classics.
