We’re only a month into 2026 and Lost Ark is already starting things off with a bang. While January was pretty light on new and exciting content, it led into the February update, which looks to give us huge improvements to the formula, along with a brand-new class in the form of the Guardianknight.
This is on top of celebrating the fourth anniversary of Lost Ark hitting the west, as Amazon and Smilegate have some surprises for players. With the update so close, Amazon has released the full patch notes of what players can expect.
New Class: Guardiaknight
A couple of times a year, Lost Ark receives a new class. Sometimes it is a gender-swapped class like Breaker or Valkyrie, or it’s something new like Wildsoul or Souleater. The Guardianknight falls into the latter category, featuring not only a new class, but a whole new class category.
The Guardianknight looks to bring a lot of variety, being a Hitmaster, transformative class, or a front-attacking standard class that focuses on her giant halberd weapon. It looks to mesh with the rest of the classes perfectly, offering something a little different and more unique.
