Earlier this month, Nintendo gave us a Nintendo Direct in the form of a brief look at the Mario Galaxy Movie, and we also got a glimpse at Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. But now, it's time for a Direct with multiple projects involved.
Over on X, Nintendo announced that they're holding a new Direct, where we'll get to see even more games. It couldn't come at a more perfect time.
It's A Partner Showcase
Out of nowhere, as is their style, Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct Partner showcase will take place on February 5. It's scheduled to last roughly 30 minutes, and will preview "upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch games."
The Nintendo Direct Partner showcase will take place at 9AM ET (as is customary) on February 5, 2026. You can watch it on YouTube and through the Nintendo Today app. Since the latter format is a bit newer, as a reminder, Nintendo Today is a smartphone app that lets you keep up with updates for Nintendo games. It features an animated calendar and daily updates, and now, it can be used to tune into Directs.
