Fallout 3 Remaster Hopes Officially Over As Mystery Countdown Ends, Fans React

If you've been watching the Fallout TV show week to week, odds are you are aware of a mysterious countdown clock that was set to go live after the finale ended last night. We know what it is now, and it's not what anyone expected.

Some excited folks predicted that we'd get a Fallout 3 remaster shadow drop, just like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. But the reality is very different and is setting off Fallout fans again, including on platforms like Reddit.

Over on the official Watch Fallout site, you can check out a new exploration module. It allows you to click on various parts of the map and get 2D and 3D tours of locations from the show, depending on the zone. This time, you can get into Mr. House's lair and get a behind-the-scenes look at the set. Yep, that was the countdown surprise.
