A Nintendo Direct has just been officially confirmed for February 5, 2026. This upcoming Direct is set to last around 30 minutes and will be a Partner Showcase focused on third-party games heading to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
This February 5 Partner Showcase will mark the third Nintendo Direct of 2026. The first two Nintendo Directs of the year took place towards the end of January and in close proximity to one another. The first was a Direct focused solely on the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which showcased Illumination's version of Yoshi for the first time and moved the film's US release date forward to April 1, 2026. The second Nintendo Direct of the year revolved around Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, where fans were given a 20-minute deep-dive into the social sim's new gameplay features.
