Blizzard has a decades-long history and plenty of its own IP to pull from for crossovers. But in recent years, they've been exploring more cross-company collaborations.
As announced in a new Blizzard Spotlight this week, Hello Kitty is coming to the Blizzard universe. So far, the collab is looking pretty good, but you only have a limited time to grab it.
On February 10, Overwatch 2 is crossing over with Hello Kitty. It sounds wild at first, but given how out-there a lot of prior skins have been in the Overwatch universe, it makes sense once you see them. Here are all the Overwatch 2 x Hello Kitty skins that are coming:
In total, six collaboration skins are dropping, and there are some interesting stats at play. Most of the skins are for Overwatch (the organization) members, while only one (Widowmaker) is on the evil Talon side; though Kuromi's theme fits this mischievous twist. Overall, half of the characters are support heroes, leaning into the light-heartedness of the collaboration.
