It's a really big year for The Legend of Zelda fans overall, with the legendary franchise celebrating its 40th anniversary in players' hands, from the NES all the way up to the Switch 2. If you're anything like me, you'll likely want to be returning to some of the best games in series history, and there's excitingly more ways to do that than ever.
One of the standout choices in that vein for many will likely be The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the GameCube and Nintendo Wii release that really took the franchise in a different direction once again. The tone in particular saw a real shift, moving back towards a more traditionally adult approach.
Fortunately, there's a way to play it in 2026 that should surpass even the heady days of the original release, and it's available right now if you're keen to give it a try.
