Marvel's Spider-Man 3 Carnage Storyline Leaves Gamers Divided

Despite being a teenage boy, a large number of full-grown men with powerful abilities seem to have it in for Peter Parker, like the boy just asked to be bitten by a spider. From Sandman to Venom, Rhino to Mister Negative, everybody wants to end Spider-Man, and it seems as though the iconic character of Carnage may be next.

Teased at the end ofThe Flame quest in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Cletus Kasady, who later goes on to become the symbiote Carnage, is introduced, but to the player's surprise, nothing ever comes of this major reveal. However, this has led many to believe that Kasady's story, and appearance as Carnage, will be a major plot point in Marvel's Spider-Man 3. If it is ever announced, that is.

As the genetic offshoot of Venom in the Marvel universe, Carnage is yet another symbiote who needs a host in order to survive. Luckily, Cletus is happy enough to fit the bill, leading him to become one of Spider-Man's most opposing enemies in the MCU and one who many believe will make an appearance in Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
