Pokémon fans can sometimes get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of projects that are thrown at them in any given year. Whether it's official or fan-made, gaming or TV-related, there's a lot of Pokémon out there.

Over on Reddit, fans have celebrated the release of Pokémon Decades, a game meant to honor the storied franchise's decades-long history.

With 1025 species to find, Pokémon Decades is a massive undertaking, and a wonderful way to tie all of the prior decades of Pokémon together in one fan game. Taking place in the Beatha region, you'll find Pokémon from Kanto (Gen 1) to Paldea (Gen 9), along with the combined Mega, Z-Power, Dynamax, and Terastallization mechanics all in one game.

Here is how the creator describes it: "Pokemon Decades is a 100% completed Gen 9 Legends ZA fan game, in the Gen 4 art style featuring all Battle Gimmicks, Mechanics, and Pokémon through Generation 9. Collect, train and battle with all 1025+ Species available in-game and take on the 18 Type Masters, to prepare yourself for defeating the world ending power, contained within the Zenith Domain."
