Limited Run Games and developer Bitmap Bureau have officially confirmed the release date for the upcoming He-Man beat-em-up, Dragon Pearl of Destruction. The animated series from the 1980s, centered around the adventures of the heroic prince of Eternia, served as one of the most iconic cartoons of the era. The He-Man franchise has been featured in everything from its original line of toys and accompanying comic books to multiple cartoons. Now, He-Man looks to be making a big resurgence with some exciting new things in store.

He-Man may be making a big comeback, with both a film reboot and a video game on the way. Amazon MGM Studios is currently working on Masters of the Universe as a reboot of the classic franchise, with actor Nicholas Galitzine playing the role of Prince Adam. The He-Man franchise is also getting a brand-new video game, with Dragon Pearl of Destruction featuring chaotic, co-op beat-em-up action inspired by classic 1980s and 1990s arcade games.
