God Of War Sequel Leak Confirms We're Saying Goodbye To Kratos

This year will mark the fourth anniversary of the release of God of War Ragnarök, the epic action adventure from Sony Santa Monica Studio. Since then, the developer has remained pretty tight-lipped on what's next for them and the franchise, but new information is starting to emerge that suggests we could be in for some huge changes.

As first confirmed in a report by WCCFtech, the next game from the studio is set to be an expansion of the God of War universe, with a new cast of characters and some more familiar faces.

Since that reveal, well-known leaker Nate the Hate (who has previously proved quite reliable on similar releases), shared additional details, with the headline being that the lead character of the next game is set to be Faye, who players will know from Ragnarök.

As many of you will know, Faye was the second wife of Kratos and mother of Atreus, serving as a major character in the overall story of the last two God of War games.
