Space Marine 2 Players Are Not Happy About the New Voice Pack DLC

Although the highly anticipated Patch 12 has finally arrived for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the new update has also led to the game's first bout of fan backlash over new premium DLC. After launching back in 2024, Space Marine 2 has seen plenty of success both with critics and players alike. Not only that, Saber Interactive has managed to keep the game moving right along with tons of post-launch content additions and continued support through patches and various updates.

In fact, it doesn't really appear that Space Marine 2 has any intention of slowing down on releasing new updates, even with a new game in the franchise currently in active development. Last year, Saber even confirmed a Year 2 roadmap for Space Marine 2 alongside its plans for what would become Patch 10 for the game's first anniversary. The roadmap confirmed new content as far as Q2 of 2026, adding new maps, PvP arenas, enemies, and plenty more. One of the more anticipated updates was Patch 12, which contained tons of new content including the Techmarine class.
