Xbox Game Pass is keeping a streak of good catalog additions going, but it'll need to recover after being put on the backfoot. The price hikes for the service are getting to be too much for some, even if current subscribers are finding new things to play.

Not every game release is equally smooth, though. In this case, communities like Reddit are bringing some attention to the implementation of an incredibly popular and storied RPG.

Although Diablo 2 is a fantastic game in its own right (including the Resurrected project), the way it's been dropped on Xbox Game Pass has left some scratching their heads. For one, Xbox Game Pass PC doesn't have access to achievements, while the Steam edition of the game, released around the same time, does. It's also not a Play Anywhere game, despite Microsoft owning the studio.

The achievements bit is one of the most annoying aspects of the release, which seems to be due to the Battle.net implementation through Xbox Game Pass.
