Amazon Prime recently revealed the first look at the studio's official God of War TV series, which is set to adapt Santa Monica Studio's God of War (2018) (and presumably God of War Ragnarök). Fan response to the first image – depicting Ryan Hurst and Callum Vinson as Kratos and Atreus respectively – has been mostly positive, but not everybody is happy.
God of War creator David Jaffe dropped a new video on his YouTube channel on February 28, 2026, expressing some disappointment over Amazon Prime's live action God of War series.
