Nintendo fans will receive a new presentation this week, as the gaming giant confirmed that an Indie World Showcase will air on Tuesday, March 3. The upcoming Nintendo broadcast will focus on indie titles coming to the Switch and Switch 2 throughout 2026 and beyond, meaning first-party Nintendo games and titles from large developers will not appear during the show.
The upcoming Indie World Showcase will arrive one month after the February 5 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase went live. The previous Partner Showcase shared a glimpse of the third-party titles launching on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 throughout 2026, including ports of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and Pragmata. Indie titles like Hollow Knight and Valheim were also present in the Partner Showcase. The last Indie World Showcase episode aired in August 2025 and gave Nintendo fans a look at titles like Mina the Hollower, Glaciered, and UFO 50.
