The long-promised Phasmophobia Tanglewood update is live today, bringing spooky secrets to one of the game's oldest maps.
Besides receiving an obvious visual upgrade, Phasmophobia's overhaul of 6 Tanglewood Drive comes with a whole host of new features to discover. Wander through the worn halls of the small house to uncover brand-new paranormal interactions, spooky new sound effects, and a new interactive element hidden in the dark recesses of the basement.
The update also adds some lore to the haunted house by scattering clues to its history around its rooms and new clutter. The modern, uncanny valley house is replaced by a much older, more storied location. Despite all these changes, developer Kinetic Games has kept one aspect of the map unchanged: its layout.
The Tanglewood house is one of the most beloved locations in Phasmophobia. The one-story, one-basement home is small enough that beginners can tackle it, but large enough that veteran ghost hunters can find challenge in it.
