Those familiar with the rough-and-tumble streets of Baldur's Gate will be familiar with the Blushing Mermaid, a rowdy establishment frequented by sailors and other troublesome patrons.
As you wouldn't find many members of the Flaming Fist willing to venture within, Captain Quenora Grisly and her staff have had to find alternative means of keeping the peace within the tavern, which is no easy feat given the place's clientele.
In the spirit of this, one can find a copy of Rules in This Bar within the Blushing Mermaid. They read as follows.
1. No fights.
2. No magic decanters (the only BYOB we endorse is Break Your Own Bones)
3. No gobbing in the glasses
4. You smack a passing server's bottom, you forfeit the offending hand.
5. Get frisky with your partner(s) elsewhere.
6. You don't have to tip, but it does help us verify you aren't an asshole.
7. You spill it, you buy it.
8. Drink plenty of water and let a member of staff know if you feel sick or unsafe.
