New Day One Xbox Game Pass Game Confirmed for June 17, But You Can Technically Play It Today

Nintendo held a special Indie World Showcase and leading off the proceedings was the unique action-platformer Denshattack, which not only revealed its release date, but news on how players can go hands on with it early. Denshattack certainly appears to be a unique experience, mixing various styles and elements together that surround its gameplay core of using trains to perform skateboard-like tricks and grinds through a near-future Japan. Previous trailers have teased all sorts of different situations, including boss battles, and now, fans can check the game out for themselves ahead of its summer launch, including on Xbox Game Pass.

Although it likely wasn't the sort of Nintendo Direct fans were hoping for, as fans continue to wonder what the company has in store for its Switch consoles later in 2026, the Indie World Showcase arrived to show off upcoming games from independent developers.
