Elden Ring fans get kernels and news here and there, especially when it comes to merchandise. There are mousepads and statues abound for the modern classic, but occasionally, there's a bigger release on the horizon.
We were supposed to get one just this past week, but it looks like plans have changed, based on our own experiences and fans' reports on Reddit.
Although Elden Ring Nightreign dropped in mid-2025, it's still going strong, in part due to a pretty well-crafted DLC expansion. But much to the delight of Souls fans, gamers have had to figure out basically everything on their own, as the official Companion Guide, due out at the end of February, was delayed again.
For me, it's been easy to follow along with this saga because I pre-ordered the book in mid-2025, around the time Nightreign went live. By the time it comes out, it'll be released roughly a year after the game. Six months ago, in September, Future Press announced that the guide would be delayed to incorporate the DLC expansion, The Forsaken Hollows.
This time, we were given another statement by Future Press about the most recent delay:
