Bandai Namco Entertainment surprised fans by teasing that it would unveil a new RPG via a special presentation that will go live on Thursday, March 5. Although Bandai Namco shared brief glimpses at its yet-unnamed RPG project, fans made their guesses as to what the studio's new RPG could be.
Although the studio is also known for producing games based on popular anime and manga franchises, including Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece, Bandai Namco has also lent its expertise to other IPs. Some examples of the games that Bandai Namco assisted with include Kirby Air Riders and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Along with its work with several established properties, Bandai Namco is also the creator of the Tales franchise, with the highly-rated Tales of Arise being the most recent entry in the RPG series. Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition will receive a Switch 2 port on May 22, which includes the Tales of Arise base game and the Beyond the Dawn expansion.
