Not every modern PlayStation gamer will remember all the unique classic games from the PlayStation 1 era, but there are several incredible titles that have left a lasting mark on players over the years. One such title became a bit of a cult classic after its limited release in 1999, and is officially returning to modern platforms after decades of being unplayable to most gamers across the globe.
70s-Style Robot Anime Geppy-X isn't a title you've likely heard of in a long time (or ever), but it's getting a brand-new remaster on current-gen consoles with upgraded graphics (via PS Lifestyle). It's the first time the game has been made available to larger audiences, as the original was only released in Japan, and will launch on PS4 & PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC this summer.
Robot Anime Geppy-X makes its official return this summer on July 16, 2026, and it's a full remaster from developers at Bliss Brain that "reignites the spirit of 70s anime." Originally released only in Japan in 1999, Geppy-X is finally coming to modern platforms, and it marks the game’s first official release to gamers outside of Japan....
