Some of the last updates in Phasmophobia were reworking and remagining maps that are already in the game. The Grafton Farmhouse was one of the ones we wrote about earlier last year. The next map to get reimagined in the newest update is one familiar to most players of the game, Tanglewood. Tanglewood was one of the earliest maps of the game, and it is probably one I most consistently play with friends.
6 Tanglewood Drive was one of the very first maps to be added to Phasmophobia at its Early Access launch in 2020. Seen as a beginner map and fondly remembered by ghost hunters, it is a single-story location with a basement, containing multiple rooms and ghost looping spots. Now, the team has grown and given Tanglewood a fresh look as the game approaches 1.0.
The map is full of new paranormal interactions, a revamped look with added clutter, and sound effects to add extra scares to the ghost-hunting experience, such as a curveball tumble dryer beep. These small additions will enhance the overall gameplay and refresh the map for those already familiar.
