Pokemon Pokopia players will have a day one patch to download to enjoy one of the game's key functions, according to the notes posted by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. The day one update for Pokemon Pokopia also fixed some bugs, though it is unclear which particular issues were addressed with this update.
Pokemon Pokopia is a life simulator that draws inspiration from games like Dragon Quest Builders, and allows players to rebuild an abandoned town from the ground up. Pokopia players assume the role of a Ditto that can transform itself to look like a Pokemon trainer, and can change into various Pokemon like Lapras to navigate through the world. Pokemon Pokopia is also home to some recurring critters, along with new variants of Pokemon like Tangrowth and Snorlax called Professor Tangrowth and Mosslax. As of this writing, Pokemon Pokopia has started its global launch via the Nintendo eShop, and is currently available across Asia and Oceania.
