Heartopia is giving away free Gold and Wishing Stars to all players as compensation for three hours of scheduled downtime that the game experienced on March 4. While anyone who plays Heartopia is able to claim these rewards, they'll only be sticking around for a few days, so players will have to act quickly if they want to add them to their accounts.
Gold and Wishing Stars as just two of the many different types of currencies in Heartopia, which all have different functions and ways for players to earn or buy them. They're not as highly prized in the community as some other forms of currency, like Exhibition passes and ticket stubs, which allow for pulls from The Gilded Acorn and swapping out duplicates for color variants, respectively. But while neither Gold nor Wishing Stars are anywhere near a premium currency, they are both quite versatile, especially in the early to mid-game, giving players the ability to buy basic furniture, clothing, upgrades, and crafting items without relying on the random nature of the game's gacha mechanics.
