Over on Steam now, a listing went up for just that kind of game, and it seems to feature sweeping vistas inspired by biblical locations and an old-school combat system. It's safe to say that no one really saw this coming.
From developer/publisher Calyxir comes The Abased, an action-RPG that's themed around multiple biblical elements. The gist involves ridding the land of a scourge of giants through action-based combat: which sounds like an Attack on Titan take as well, with a dash of God of War.
