The Elder Scrolls 6 Be Damned, Oblivion Is Getting Multiplayer

You'll soon be able to play co-op in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, thanks to the efforts of an ambitious modding team. The remaster of Bethesda's classic open-world RPG was shadowdropped last year to rave reviews, with many fans praising its faithfulness as they dove back into exploring Cyrodiil once more.

Now, according to Dark Side of Gaming, the modding team at ReadyCode has announced that it expects to release a multiplayer mod for Oblivion Remastered in Q2 2026. Players will be able to create and host their own servers, including co-op campaigns and PvP Arena battles.

This announcement comes at a somehow-still-turbulent time for the Elder Scrolls fandom, which is patiently awaiting a drop of information on the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6. To date, the image above, part of a short announcement/teaser trailer released in 2018, is still the only major update we've gotten on The Elder Scrolls 6.
