Steam has become a great place to go for all sorts of free games, whether it's time-limited offers that allow you to play games for a certain period, or behemoths like Counter-Strike 2, which have always been free at the point of download.

Slightly more rare than either of those are sales that allow players to download and keep games for free that usually cost money outside of that window. The 100% sale might be fabled, but there's one happening right now, and the game in question is an underrated gem that deserves your consideration.
