Steam Adds 4 New Free Games For March, Yours To Keep Forever

At this point, I'm checking Steam regularly for free stuff. As games rise to $70 and beyond, it's easy to settle down with something on the cheap, even if it's only worth a few hours of my time.

Over on Steam, you can pick up a handful of new games now for free. No matter what genre you're into, there's bound to be something here for you.

First, we have Competitive TicTacToe, which is just as silly as it sounds, but there is a twist. Described as a "fast-paced strategy title," the gimmick is that your oldest piece disappears when the board is full. In other words, you need to plan ahead multiple moves, and be ready for your opponent to hit that last piece when the game essentially "resets." The game also supports "global ELO leaderboards."

Next up is CUPIES, a 3D platformer starring CU, a little cube who tries to find his friends PI and ES. The levels are full of "absurd dangers that test your sanity."
