Marvel reveals a brand-new look for Thor, showing how amazing the God of Thunder's most human costume would look in Marvel Rivals. Of all the major Avengers in Marvel Comics, Thor is one of the heroes who changes his clothes the least. Thor's regal Asgardian armor is practically part of him, not a fashion statement or a tactical uniform.
Yet, Thor has gone through dozens of different redesigns throughout the decades. Thor has updated his armor drastically, from his extravagant, gold-and-blue variation from the late 1980s to his dark, sleek version from his time as Galactus' herald in 2020. These and many other looks are natural sources of inspiration for adaptations like Thor: Love and Thunder, Square Enix's Marvel's Avengers, and Fortnite.
Marvel shows no signs of stopping, as new Thor redesigns continue to update the Avenger's look, both in and out of canon.
